My name is Stacey Simison. I am very happily married to my best friend and we have one very beautiful son. I live in Lancaster, Ca now, but I am originally from a town in Southern Alabama. I lived in the South my entire life until I moved to the California desert in December of 2006. 

I have been working with photography since about 11 years of age. I have always been a writer and photographer. In fact, I like to say that I was "THAT kid": the one who was always taking pictures of their family in friends... so much that they would growl at me when I would randomly yell out "SMILE!" and start taking pictures incessantly.

I took those passions seriously, even as a child, and learned as much as I could in order to excel at my chosen hobbies. I soon took the next step and turned those talents into jobs, working on the yearbook and newspaper teams at my high school and then again in college. Eventually, I found myself working as a Graphic Artist for a Nationwide Weekly Newspaper Publication.

While working in Graphic Arts, I learned even more about Photography and how to manipulate it and stylize it to fit my  tastes and needs. I soon learned as much as I could about Photo Editing and Layouts. Even though that particular position wasn't the right one for me, the experience only helped solidify my passion and knowledge in the world of Photography. I love to create projects: Christmas Cards, Digital Scrapbooks, Professional Advertisements, etc. 

I strive to capture the world in my lens, to see the babies smiling and the capture raindrops on the tips of eyelashes. The world is a beautiful place, full of beautiful and interesting people of all shapes, sizes, and colors. I love to capture Moments in place forever, so that we can look back with our grandchildren and remind ourselves of the life and times that used to be.Those snapshots in time are as important to me as they are to you and your family.
